Uhhh. That’s really funny, there are probably 3 layers to the joke. The fact that the text is not referring to real water. The text being above a water faucet being the punch line.
Then we’ve got the ‘do not drink sign.’ Indicating a prohibition upon the well of everlasting life.
There is probably a third layer anyway.

Terry Pratchett has an explorer observe in “Eric” (his pastiche of Faust) that the directions to the Fountain of Eternal Youth misses out one important instruction: Boil Before Drinking!
