Karen 2

Karen people forced to abandon their village by the Burmese army cross the Yunzalin River (Karen State) on their way to a refugee camp in Thailand.
For years the Burmese army has been leading ethnic cleansing campaigns in territories of Burma inhabited by minorities. These campaigns have forced hundreds of thousand of people to abandon their home. Scores of them find shelter in the jungle, others leave their homeland to live in the plain under the soldiers rule.
