what a great idea! But then, what would they DO up in Aberdeen? ;-)

I wouldn’t mind. Most of the dissertations on Barth that I’ve seen lately (most, not all) really only have about 1 or 2 chapters of interesting new material. Maybe we need to just grant fewer PhDs.
