… that’s what I thought, but it seems that the Waitangi Tribunal, a permanent commission of inquiry that researches and reports on claims submitted by Māori under the Treaty of Waitangi Act 1975, is serious about seeking to appoint two historians and one senior historian.

There are already lots of historians working for the Waitangi Tribunal, and for the Treaty of Waitangi Settlements Office – have been for years! I guess there’s still a fair bit of work to do …

Ali, I can envision no time in the future – not even in the new creation! – when the tasks charged to historians will be over. (But if I’m wrong, there will always be pizzas to deliver ;-)) [N.B. The second sentence is a further attempt at humour ;-)]
On the other note, I’m so pleased to hear that the project is progressing, and that you’re doing your best to keep unsoggy.
